Book Marks MePainting$25Reward

I am busy making the rewards for the successful Kickstarter project I had. I made 25+ book marks for all the patrons. Everyone got one.

And the image above shows me painting one of the $40 rewards – a 5″ x 7″ acrylic painting. They are turning out well. Its a real great deal for all the people who supported me. Discount high quality original artwork from an artist! Thanks everyone who supported me!

Kickstarter Rewards, small watercolor paintings

MePaintingH2Orewards

I have been busy painting the small watercolor paintings for the reward category of $25. Its been great to be in the studio! The sunny days make it very bright as my studio is attached to the little sun room, which warms up the place.

I am almost finished with those small gems of paintings. I am also working on the book marks, doing a few each evening. I am enjoying using pen and colored pencil as its a different medium than what I normally use to create images. Every patron, no matter the amount they donate, will get a book mark enclosed in a thank you card. I think its important to be polite and acknowledge the generosity of everyone.

Kickstarter success!

Well I have 4 hours left in my Kickstarter crowd funding project: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/keshetart/changing-the-medium and I have made my goal plus a bit more. I’ll get my money in a few weeks and then be able to purchase what I need for oil painting. I’m already working on sketches and ideas for the 20+ paintings I am sending to my patrons as rewards for their generous donations.

I had a great success at my retreat, painting for 5 full days and 4 part days after that. I got 5 finished paintings, 4 were worth keeping. I also started #6 and finished it at home. I’ve finished another one since then.

Now I am doing all these small watercolors for some rewards and also for reward bookmark gifts for my Kickstarter project.

Next goal – getting enough work finished and documented and getting into a gallery or two.
